What an encouragement it was to gather at Regent College with 25 pastors and leaders from around North America to name and explore the complexities and opportunities in each of our particular locations.

Under the event theme, “Bloom Where You Are Planted,” Jodi led a workshop that used story and interactive case-study to grow our understanding of the historical wounds of colonization and the liberating gospel of repentance and repair.

This was a rich time of dialogue with scripture and each of our contexts, trying to pay attention to pathways and postures rather than answers and plans for pursuing right relationship.

From Regent: The Gathering is an annual event for church leaders and pastors seeking to refresh and build lifelong friendships for resilient pastoral ministry. As a non-conference conference, we focus on encounters over information-exchange. Through worship, prayer, teaching, dialogue, sharing food, and recreation, we will grow our pastoral imagination. https://www.regent-college.edu/lifelong-learning/conferences/the-gathering-2024
