What We’re Reading, July 2024: Water

In our “What We’re Reading” series, I want to take you back to an article the CBC covered in April of this year. As the days grow hotter and we are all more mindful of droughts and water usage this article is a helpful picture of the state of water for Indigenous communities in Alberta.

Wherever I go across the nation there is outrage and shame that we have not been able to get a handle on the water issues for Indigenous communities. Read this article to understand some of the decisions and challenges related to access to clean and drinkable water.
